BO-105 Update
http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2 ... tcount=324
Update 02.04.2014

First on. If you were wondering for the lack of updates. I'm still busy doing the stuff for Coretex (for the guys who ran out of patience, check the coretex threat !!). When this is done, the
BO-105 development will continue in a regular state. Further on - I'm still waiting for additional cockpit-photos which are expected this summer from
a guy who have good contacts, since the german army didn't allow me to take photos of a helicopter which is almost in the museum.

Last weekend I had time to texture the roof and the window-frames. I also baked some AO's for a more realistic effect.

Modeling ToDo's (INTERIOR MODEL)

- Rotorbrake
- 2 Cable holders
- Pilot/Co-Pilot
- Door grips

Modeling ToDo's (EXTERIOR MODEL)
-> Cockpit for the exterior model will be applied as soon as the Interior Model is done. <-

Texturing (INTERIOR MODEL)

80 % done

Texturing (EXTERIOR MODEL)

not done yet, but the unwrapping is already done

Thanks for the patience !

Small Update 17.04.2014
some screens of the current state of work. Today I remodeled the circuit breaker panel of the front console (screens below).
I also applied AO's to some objects... since the mental ray texture baking brought out some results which I don't understand (as usual ), I switched to Vray and/or Scanline Light-Tracer which showed
much more better results. Thanks again for your patience

Nueva publicación del Oliver Mitchel, esta vez, ha conseguido integrar el Bo-105 dentro de DCS: World, usando las DLLs del Ka-50.

Some Screens of the BO-105 flying in DCS World. Flying with KA-50 dll's is a pain in some spot where the sun doesn't shine

Update #3 del desarrollo del Bo-105, por Oliver. Todavia no hay autorización de Airbus Helicopters

http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2 ... ostcount=1
Dear fellow Simmers,

Here we go for the next update.

First, we want to show you soem nice rendering from Sven, our lead 3d-Artist.

Image

DEVELOPMENT:

Medusa System:

The coding of our Medusa System comes along very good. TOWSIM told me that also the Autorotation will be calculated automatically, based on the Helicopter you configure in the mask. It will work like in real. He currently applies the configurable Engine to the Code.
Soon, the coding will start. We just need to add some code to the Gazelle, based on the pilot's imput .

Modeling:

Internal and external Model has been textured. Some little tweaking here and there is left, but not worth the saying
Dummy helpers has also been set on the moveable parts.
Pilot will be started, as soon as the Gazelle Pilot is finished.
Airbus Helicoptrs Clearance:

No answer so far, but we're on it

thanks all for your patience.
